By using the Eye2Tap App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use the App.

This Policy applies only to information processed through the Eye2Tap App. It does not apply to information collected through unrelated third-party services, websites, or applications.
2. Nature of the Application
Eye2Tap is an information storage and facilitation tool. It is not a medical device, medical application, or provider of healthcare services. The App enables users to program and store data onto compatible Eye2Tap eyewear adapters. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Information You Provide
The App may allow you to enter, store, and manage information, including but not limited to:

Eyeglass prescription data (e.g., SPH, CYL, AXIS, ADD, PD)

Emergency medical information (e.g., allergies, blood type, health conditions)

Contact information or custom URLs
You control the type and amount of information you choose to enter. The Company does not collect this information for its own use.
4. How Information Is Stored and Processed

All user-entered data is stored locally on the user’s device, secured through iOS Keychain encryption.

Data written to Eye2Tap adapters remains within the user’s control.

The Company does not host, transmit, or store user data on external servers.

No account creation or third-party login is required.
5. Use of Information: Because data remains under your control and local to your device, the Company does not access or use your personal information for any business purpose. The App functions solely as a data facilitator tool for programming eyewear adapters.
6. Disclosure of Information: The Company does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. Data is never disclosed except at the direction of the user.
7. Security: We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data stored within the App, including iOS Keychain integration. However, no system is entirely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their devices from unauthorized access.
8. Children’s Privacy: The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. In certain jurisdictions, including the United States, the App is rated 12+ due to medical/treatment references.
9. User Rights: As a user, you may at any time:

Add, modify, or delete data stored in the App.

Erase or overwrite data written to your Eye2Tap adapters.

Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
Because the Company does not retain or control your data, requests for access or deletion must be managed directly through your device.
10. Third-Party Services: The App does not incorporate advertising, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking tools. External links (such as to support or purchase adapters) may direct you to third-party websites, which operate under their own privacy policies.
11. International Use: Users outside the United States acknowledge that the App is operated under U.S. laws. If you access the App from outside the U.S., you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
12. Changes to this Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or business practices. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
